Dear Fellow Members of the EMS Community: The dedication and constant effort that it takes to excel as a pre-hospital caregiver is often frequently overlooked. As a token of appreciation for your hard work, community service, and impact on patient care, you are cordially invited to take a cruise on the Belle of Louisville.
The cruise will be held on May 22, 2002. This date was chosen in honor of National EMS Week. The cruise will depart at 8:00 p.m. EDT with boarding beginning at 7:30 p.m. We would like you to help us "Pack the Boat" to its capacity of 800! This is a first-come, first-served event, so please come early. In the past, we have never reached capacity. This is a free event to our EMS community that includes a cruise down the Ohio River, food, non-alcoholic beverages, music, and lots of door prizes. There will be a cash bar. This is an adult-oriented cruise, so please no children.
Once again, STATCARE and the Louisville Medical Center appreciate and support your efforts throughout the year. This cruise is just one small way to express that appreciation. From I-64 East take the Ninth Street Exit, turn left onto Market Street, turn left onto Seventh, and follow the curve to the right on River Road. Veer to the right of the highway entrance ramp at Second Street. Parking is available to the left or right.

order to show our appreciation to the greatest number of EMS personnel,
please give this invitation the widest distribution. Below is a sign-up
sheet to post which can be faxed back to STATCARE at (502) 479-9150 at
your convenience. Although this is a first-come, first-served event, you
will be getting a call from a STATCARE crew member by May 1 to get an
estimate of the number of people attending from your service.
